Ashley’s Famous Paleo Pumpkin Pie Recipe -

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup coconut milk
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 tsp. Salt
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 TBSP pumpkin pie spice
  • 2 tsp. Vanilla
  • Dash of cinnamon
  • 1 pie pumpkin
  • 1.5 cups pumpkin puree

Instructions:

  1. Bake pie pumpkin at 300 degrees until shriveled and soft.
  2. Pour flesh in a bowl and scoop out seeds.
  3. Add all ingredients to a food processor and blend
  4. Pour into crust and bake at 350 degrees for about 60-90 minutes or until it doesn’t jiggle when touched with a knife and a knife comes out clean.

I used to do ANYTHING to get my son to stop crying.

Funny faces.
Bouncing.
Singing.
Tap dancing.

At times I felt like a one-woman circus.

A few weeks ago on Instagram I made a lot of our followers angry.

I posted about a program called The Adrenal Recode designed for people suffering from HPA axis (adrenal) issues or nervous system balance that can sometimes be experienced by keto dieters.

There was a time I struggled to get out of bed in the morning. I had lingering thyroid issues I couldn’t seem to fix and I felt like I had hit a wall HARD with my keto diet.

Many prescription medications deplete key nutrients. Birth control, for example, can deplete nutrients like vitamin B9, vitamin C, zinc and magnesium.

Which scares me because if a woman stops taking birth control and gets pregnant right away, she could still be depleted in nutrients (like B9) required for fetal development because of the birth control she was taking.

The side effects of common meds can also be the result of this nutrient depletion.
